Assalamualaikum semua.

Post kali ni biarlah dalam bahasa ibunda pula. Kali ni saya nak cakap soal hati. Haha. Mood jiwang telah melanda. Iyalah kan, semenjak dah masuk tahun 2012 ni. Umur pon dah menginjak lebih dewasa, mulalah rasa macam tak cukup korum je. Betul tak. Eleh, tipu la kalau x kan. Tapi, bila dah masuk tahun-tahun akhir ijazah ni (tahun ketiga dan keempat), molek sangat lah untuk mula cari teman. Standby awal-awal. Tak la nanti jadi bujang terlajak atau anak dara tua pulak. Sesetengah tu, tahun pertama dah ada. Haish, awal sangat tu, nanti lebih kepada lagha pulak kalau tak pandai manage. Cewaah, pandai lah nak nasihat orang.

Tapi saya kadang-kadang rasa ~~menyampah~~ kurang senang bila tengok adik-adik yang masih bersekolah, dah tergila-gila nak berpasang-pasangan. Cinta monyet kalo setakat kenyit-kenyit mata dan hantar surat tu takpa, tapi diorang sekarang dating kalah abang-abang ngan kakak-kakak. Siapa yang tak pernah dengar atau lihat tentang fenomena dating ngan spek besar kat Pavilion oleh adik-adik underage. Adoi, tergugat kitorang yang dah 20++ ni tengok. Haha. Sabar lah adik-adik yer, blaja bagi habis dulu. Eh, sunat belum tuh yer? Haa, kalo bab-bab yang diorang terlebih advance tuh, saya x nak cerita lah pulak kat sini.

Opps, terlebih sudah. Kembali kepada topik kita. Bila lihat pada tajuk "berkasih dan bercinta: gadis pilihan hati", mesti ada yang tertanya-tanya, pengakuan ekslusif apakah yang saya nak buat ni. Nak show girlfriend kah? Haha. Semestinya tidak. Hati saya ni belum dimiliki. Acewah, single gitu. Bukan sebab saya memilih, tapi sebab saya lebih suka untuk tumpukan pada perkara-perkara yang lain terlebih dahulu seperti pelajaran serta kemenjadian saya selaku seorang pelajar yang dinamik. Acewah, ayat poyo disitu. Tapi itulah hakikatnya, saya lebih suka terlibat dalam berpersatuan dan aktiviti-aktiviti sosial bersama rakan-rakan. Enjoy dulu lah waktu awal-awal ni. Hehe, mungkin ada yang kurang setuju. Tidak mengapa, semua orang ada "way of life" sendiri.

Pernah juga menaruh harapan pada seseorang *pengakuan ekslusif disitu*, hampir tiga tahun disimpan rasa hati *acewah lagi* tapi entahlah mungkin bukan jodoh. Si dia sudah berpunya. Apa-apa pun, hidup mesti sentiasa ceria. Allah knows best. No hal lah.

Bila pandang sekeliling dan lihat ramai sahabat-sahabat dah mula berpasang-pasang, kami geng-geng yang bujang pon mula lah iri hati. Hehehe. Dan mulalah nak list down ciri-ciri gadis pilihan hati masing-masing. Boleh bagi kat family tolong carikan. Haha. Pilihan family selalunya yang terbaik. So, saya nak share lah jugak ciri-ciri gadis pilihan hati saya. Hehe. Untuk suka-suka dan rujukan di masa hadapan. Saya tak ada diari, so saya coretkan kat blog saya lah. Boleh kan? Heee.

Kita mulakan dengan perkara-perkara yang kita boleh nilai dengan mata kasar dolo.

Pertamanya, umur. Kalau boleh biar sama lah kot. Kalau x pon, setahun lebih muda. atau dua tahun pon boleh lah. Paling muda pon tiga atau empat. Stop! Lima tahun beza, sorry lah yer. Oh. saya lahir 1990.
Pelajaran. Saya lebih suka kalau berijazah dan menceburi bidang-bidang seperti pendidikan, perundangan atau apa-apa yang dibawah kerajaan. Oh, bukan demand, cuma kalau boleh biarlah kerja dengan kerajaan juga. Senang nak buat loan. Hehe. Cikgu pilihan pertama kot. Senang, cuti sama. Kan3. Hehehehe
Tinggi. Oh. Kalau boleh 170 ke atas, ideal kalau 175cm. Sebab saya 179cm. ^_^
Warna kulit. Sejujurnya, yang manis mata memandang lah. X perlu putih bak bunga orkid putih tu, tapi sawo matang pon okay kot. Kalau lebih kurang dengan saya lagi bagus, anak pon comel. Kan3. Hehehehe.

Seterusnya, perkara-perkara yang melibatkan peribadi.

Mesti matang, bukan jenis yang miaw-miaw. Oh, saya x suka gadis kucing yang suka bergesel sana sini dan merengek itu ini. p/s: No butthurt ok.
Kena banyak bersabar. Saya ni kadang-kadang emosi. Hahaha. Tapi kalau kat *awak , x kowt. LOL
Berbudi bahasa. Terutamanya dengan ahli keluarga yang lebih tua eg ibubapa, abang dan kakak.
Penyayang dan baik hati. X perlu nak elaborate yang ni.
Rasional dan bijak. Bukan jenis yang melatah x tentu hala dan pandai mengutarakan pandangan secara berhemah. Intelektual dalam tindakan.
Pandai memasak dan rajin mengemas rumah serta kerja-kerja orang perempuan yang lain. Saya tak suka perempuan yang malas dan selalu bangun lewat. Kalau *awak macam tu, sama ada saya babab awal-awal2 atau kita xyah kawen.*eh, sebut kawen plak. =p
Pandai bergaya. Ni pun penting, kan ada banyak jenis fesyen-fesyen sekarang ni. Amikla mana-mana yang sederhana dan sedap mata memandang tuh. Saya xsuka perempuan yang ranggi sangat dan terlalu simple. Light make-up will do. ^_^
Tak materialistik dan kaki barang branded. Hoish, saya bukan jutawan lah. Bakal guru je pon. Paling hebat jadi pensyarah.

Tapi jangan paranoid. Perkara-perkara diatas ni hanyalah guideline. Boleh di'nurture' lagi. Yang penting, gadis pilihan hati ialah orang yang setia, memahami dan menyayangi saya dengan ikhlas.

Haa, siapakah bakal jadi gadis pilihan hati?? Bila tiba masanya, kita akan reveal. Jangan risau. Masih ada 9 tahun untuk mencari cinta. Sebab saya target untuk mendirikan rumah tangga paling awal pun umur 28 tahun, dan paling lambat umur 30 tahun. insyaAllah, masih ada masa, xperlu terburu-buru dan ciri-ciri diatas mungkin berubah mengikut peredaran masa.

Hey Peeps.

I'm back. Again ~~and again~~, I was really into something ~~as usual~~. This time around, I had started working! Yerp, I work.. Part-time-ly.. As what? Hehe, a cashier ~~again~~ at The Store, AGAIN.. Well, I find it easy to work there as I know most of the people there, so applying for the job was really easy and I don't have to go through any annoying interviews..

Well, lets skip all those boring intro. I am actually to write about these 11 things, which I was tagged by Miss Yee Nunaka in her blog. So, lets see what I can do to 'fulfill' what she had asked me to do.

Talkative: I must admit this. LOL. I even annoy some of my friend sometimes. AHAKS. Sorry guys.
Ambitious: I always want the best for myself. Fair enough.
Hard working: When I have set a goal, I will work double-triple hard for it. *mainly when I am working on any projects/proposal/program*
Lazy: When I don't have the mood, sometimes I procrastinate *mainly when it comes to assignments*
Cocky: Hell yeah.. Sometimes I am bit cocky, especially to some ignorant strangers. Erk, I am sorry too.
Cool-like: Sometimes I try to act cool. Hahaha. Not sure whether I was/is successful doing this.
Loving: I love my family, friends, colleagues, LOVERS so much. I do, TRUST me. ^_^
Perfectionist: I hate people who do things half-heartedly and produces craps. I want things to be done in an acceptable way if its not a perfect piece.
Polite: I am polite when it comes to dealing with people older than me.
Cheerful: When it comes to my happy moments of course. But, as a normal human being I do get sad casually.
Tired : I am tired of writing about myself. T________T Next Section please!!

Hey, I've been so much into proposals and drafting my CV. I hardly have time to fool around these few days. Fuhh. I am drafting proposal for Malaysian Festival in Wellington this year. ^__^ . I hope it will be a success.

Also, am busy drafting CV as I am applying to become a facilitator for Asia Pacific Model United Nation Conference in Melbourne this coming July. Wish me luck! Its a volunteer role, but the experience will be priceless.

Hi Guys,

I've been away too long aye. More than a month I guess. Pardon me for being so, I was so busy (as usual) attending to lots of things. It has been a wonderful year end for me. In these 2 months, I have done lots of things, GREAT ones really.

First and foremost, I came back to Malaysia on the 31st October. That was the sweetest thing of all. I feel grateful to be back to my LAND, the place where I belong MALAYSIA or in specific KULIM, KEDAH. But, my sweet story at KULIM had to be stopped for a while when I have to attend Perhimpunan Agung UMNO (PAU) 2011 at Putra World Trade Centre from 26Nov till 2nd December. It was a really great event though. I get to meet lots of important people in the country including the PM and his deputy, not forgetting some ministers as well. PAU was terrific as I get to know more about UMNO and at the same time get to met lotsa new friends all around the world!

Right after PAU, I flew to Beijing, China for my winter holiday! I was there for six days. I am grateful that I met these people whom are really helpful. Syafiq, Syeikh and Nuraini. These are angels sent by God to help me whilst am at Beijing. Things get really easy when they were around. Otherwise, I'll be crazy just to talk to those Chinese in China. They dont speak my language (Eng). T_T And communication was freaking hard there with locals. Thanks guys. The week I was there was fantastic. I went to many historical places, just as I hoped. Great Wall and Forbidden City were among the places I visited.

Then, few hours after I landed in Kuala Lumpur from Beijing, I took off to Perth, Australia for a formal function with Deputy Prime Minister. After the event, I over stayed for three days doing awesome things with my lovely friends from NZ and Amirah, our brilliant tourist guide. The highlight of the trip was Rottness Island where I had fun cycling around the Island and done snorkelling on the beautiful shore.. This is something I'll never forget.

Last week, right after Christmas I had a fun Kursus Kepimpinan for my Wellington UMNO Club at Hulu Langat, Selangor. The kursus were attended by 16 awesome committees from Welly UMNO and Auckland UMNO.

And the year 2011 was closed by my cousin's wedding ceremony on the 31st Dec. It was a grand wedding as she was the only daughter in the family. I wish her a long lasting love and may the new family be granted lovely children.

Well, that was my 2011 memories. Beautiful ones. I hope 2012 will bring more happiness and may Allah bless my life in 2012. Amin.

11.11.11 - what's so special about the date?

Today is Nov 11, 2011. The date that almost everyone makes such a fuss about.
To me, its just another ordinary date. Nothing extra special. Not worth of a celebration.

But, some take the date seriously.
Well, I have nothing against that. What's wrong of being happy and wanting to celebrate any date.
Have fun while you can, of any reason that you want.

By the way, on this date.. I would like to share two contradicting feelings. Happiness and Sadness.

Happy :-

My seniors in New Zealand are coming back to Malaysia today! Alhamdulillah, they have completed their 2 years twinning programme at Victoria University of Wellington. Welcome back seniors. Malaysia awaits you beautiful teachers. <3

Sad :-
Earlier today, I was informed about the accident that happened near Behrang R&R. How sad it was a bus accident and four were killed (as at 3pm) in that accident. Even sadder, the bus carried students and teachers from SMK Air Merah, Kulim -a school nearby my house. Condolences to the family of the teacher and two students and one lady who were killed. Al-fatihah.

Life is short, and everything is fated. Live you life while you can, and be happy.

Adieu Welly Love

Hi,

Today will be the last day for me at Welly this year! How time flies eh, so FAST and FURIOUS. Feels like I was here yesterday, and today I am leaving the windy welly :( I am not leaving it for good though. InshaAllah will come back next year for my 3rd year studies. I look forward to that. For now, I am happy to be heading back. Can't wait to see people I love. Hope they are as excited as I am too.

Before I take my flight home, I'll first spend good time at Christchurch; the earthquake city. Hoho. *touchwood* It is of a scary thought to stay there for a bit, but I have got no choice, AirAsia only operates from there and I could only afford AirAsia *student mode*.

I am praying hard for a safe flight home. Please join me in this prayer. I am missing Malaysia so very much. Few questions run in my mind. ??? Have Malaysia changed since I was last there in Feb? Was it hotter now? Hehe. Kindly answer me please, so that I wont get that much of a shock when I reach ~~KLIA~~ LCCT.

Kunjungan Hormat WUC kepada TYT High Commissioner

Hi,

Apa khabar semua? Hari ni saya telah menjalankan tugas rasmi kedua sebagai Presiden Wellington UMNO Club sesi 2011/2012. Saya bersama ahli jawatankuasa kelab UMNO telah membuat kunjungan hormat kepada Tuan Yang Terutama Dato' Mazlan Mohamad, Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke New Zealand.

Berdebar jugak nak berjumpa Dato' ni. Tapi Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan dengan lancar. Beberapa isu telah dibincangkan terutamanya berkenaan hala tuju kelab pada masa hadapan. Dato' Mazlan telah banyak berkongsi input-input serta cadangan-cadangan yang bernas. Terima kasih Dato!

Sebelum kami pulang, ada sedikit jamuan disediakan. Ala-ala hi-tea. Yeay! Alhamdulillah. "Jimat duit makan malam", bak kata Dato'. Pandai Dato' ni berseloroh. =)

Sebab terlalu nervous, x berani pulak nak snap-snap gambar sepanjang perjumpaan bersama Dato'. Tapi semasa dalam perjalanan pulang, sempat lah kami semua berhenti untuk tangkap gambar.

Malaysian Night Dinner, Wellington New Zealand 2011

Hi,

Last Friday I attended a dinner function organised by Wellington Malaysian Student Organisation at Intercontinental Hotel, Wellington. It was a lovely end of year party and everybody enjoyed it very much!

The function was quite formal, but fun! Most men (including me) wore suits and ladies with their glamorous gowns. The food was good, and the performances was undoubtedly AWESOME!

I am currently busy with few admin works for my new club, as well as finishing the final 2 essays which due on 25th. Then, I will be busy packing my whole stuff and ready to fly back home!

Hi!

I am deeply sorry for not updating for two weeks now!
I was really into studies; assignments and test! Am all good now though, sat for my last paper yesterday! yeay! I've just got two more essays due 25th Oct and I can bid Good Bye to my Second Year!

Wow, second year man! Cant believe that I am going to be a third year student soon. That sounds so ~~old~~ cool! I could still remember my 'kiddo-year' back in 2008, when I registered for my foundation in Malaysia. Haha. How time flies eh!

Ehem, I don't really have much to say this time but am really looking forward to Summer @ Malaysia. I've got two more weeks before my departure date and am busy packing and preparing for that. Many things to settle before I can actually board the flight with ease. Woohoo.

Oh ya, I would like to share this good news with all of you readers. Alhamdullilah, I was entrusted to hold up the position of President of Wellington UMNO Club, New Zealand. It was a big thing for me but I am happy to become the President and will do my best to uphold the Club. InsyaAllah, I will do my best. =)

I think thats it for this time around. Will update again when I have free time. Keep reading my lame blog please.

Rasa syukur gile leh tgk keindahan musim bunga di negara orang. Alhamdulillah.

Ok, jom lah usha gambar-gambar musim bunga di New Zealand. Oh, jangan hairan pulak sebab apa NZ ni tgh musim bunga sedangkan kawan-kawan kat UK/US/Jepun semua tgh musim luruh. Hehe. Sebabnya ialah, Nz ni kat ujung dunia. Lebih spesifik lagi ialah terletak di hemisphera selatan, so musim dia terbaliklah dengan mereka-mereka di hemisphera utara nun. Cuba check balik buku geographi kalo lopa. =)

Hey hey peeps, hows your weekend eh? Hope you lovely people had some lovely weekend with your dearest ones. Mine was awesome too, just like what I had mentioned earlier in the post before. Today, I was excited ~~thrilled~~ to write another post as I think this is something worth sharing. Ah-ha.. What is so important/interesting?

Well, I did not really make it a surprise though because from the title itself I've made clear that I want to write about my children's name. Tee-Hee..

Na Na Na... Of course I am not married ~~yet~~. I dont even have anyone special yet.~~opps, pecah rahsia tak laku =(.~~ Hey, have I ever write about my wedding before, my GF?? Nope aye? haha. LOL.. Actually, I had a dream last night. Was a good one, but none of those wetty dreamy-lah. In that dream, I was a father to two lovelies.. A boy and a girl.. (I hope they are twins!!) They were exceptionally CUTE and GORGEOUS ~~just like their father.~~ I did not see their mum though. HOHOHOHO.. *blushing*

As soon as I woke up this ~~afternoon~~ morning, I tried to remember whether or not the babies have names.. I can't really recall much though, so I decided to just come out with new names for the babies.. To my own surprise, I manage to come out with beautiful names for the babies and I really want to share it with my readers. ~~i might not even use them later though. hohoho~~

Ehem Ehem, my handsome baby boy will be called

Ahmad Addy Zafran bin Muhammad Fitri

and my beautiful princess's name will be

Aishah Adilla Humaira binti Muhammad Fitri

Springy Spring...

Hi,

Hey guys, today I decided to write in English!! teehee.. Hope you can bare with my poor writing skills together with my lame vocab!

~~Apparently, I am a future English teacher who does not know 2/3 of the words in the dictionary.~~

~~This is already the third week of spring, but it still feels like winter at some point.~~

~~BUT~~

Today has been awesome to me! I had the most springy spring!! How wonderful is that! Is loving the SUN so very much that I feel like sunbathing near the beach. ~~wearing trunk.~~

However, I was busy with lots of other things on my 'to-do-list', the sunbathing plan needs to be postponed for a while. Hohoho.What am I busy with btw?? Well I had to go down to Wellington Town Hall to watch the Grand Multicultural Performances, and then had to work (volunteer) at NZ on Screen near Te Papa Promenade.

The former was really interesting. The performances were AWESOME!! I enjoyed MALAYSIA's Bahtera Budaya so very much as it was so lively and colourful. They (bahtera budaya group) were ~~f***ing~~ terrific and they received so many great comments and praises from the floor. All hail Malaysia!

The latter, NZ on Screen volunteer work was really great and challenging at the same time. My role was to host people and make them feels welcome. I had to walk the visitors over the exhibition and try my best to answer their queries. It has been really great as I get to met lots of ~~random~~ people across NZ and the world.

I would really love to elaborate more on each of the latter and the former, but am afraid that I would doze you people off. So I better stop here and let you guys enjoy some of the photos taken with my Baby Nokia today.. Have Fun and lets wish for a Springer Spring ahead!

Hello Geng!

Skang dah masuk Syawal 8. Dan kuliah pon dah mula sejak isnin yang lalu. Suasana hari raya dah beransur pudar. Sob3. Kuih Raya pon dah habis. (~~Oh TIDAK~~!)

Minggu ni best sebab dapat kunjungan kawan-kawan dari Auckland dan Sydney. Best dapat jumpa kawan-kawan lama dan baru.

Antara yang aku jumpa ialah Kamal Effendi, Nasrul Hadi, Siddiq ; dorang dari Auckland.

Dari Sydney pulak, Ainuddin (my ex schoolmate!), Muhaimin, Ridhuan and 2 more guys (~~dowh, lopa nama! sorry~~)

Nak upload gamba, tapi skang ngah kat Uni, xleh nak attach sbb x bawak pendrive/hard disk..

Dorang ada ajak g OZ ngan Auckland. InsyaAllah, taun depan okay? Tunggu Mr Addy wat kunjngan balas kat tempat korang.

So, hari ni 30hb Ogos 2011, semua rakyat Malaysia pon bergumbira menyambut kedatangan Syawal!

AHAMDULILLAH.

Walaubagaimanapun, kitorang di New Zealand ni belum raya lagi.. huhuhu

Ini adalah keputusan daripada pihak Federal Islamic Association of New Zealand (FIANZ) yang memutuskan bahawa anak bulan tidak kelihatan semalam,

maka raya jatuh pada 31 Ogos.

Sejujurnya, agak terkilan sebab x raya sama-sama dengan warga Malaysia, nak webcam pon buat terliur jer. Huhuhuhu. Tapi xpa, saya tabahkan hati. Sehari je lagi. Chaiyok2..

Sempena Aidil Fitri ni saya nak ucapkan selamat hari raya maaf zahir dan batin kepada semua ahli keluarga di Kedah, rakan-rakan yang mengenali diri ini samada secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung juga kepada semua para guru yang pernah mendidik saya dari kecik sampailah sekarang. Semoga Allah memberkati anda semua dan semoga lebaran kali ini akan membawa kebahagiaan dalam hidup anda semua, Amin.

Alhamdulillah, dapat jugak berpuasa satu hari lagi. InsyaAllah ada berkatnya..

So, tibalah masa yang ~~korang~~ kita semua tunggu2!

keputusan bagi bloggers BERTUAH utk GA kad raya encik Adriad. =) harini mmg sangat bizi ekceli, tapi as soon as i've done with my work, I quickly go back home to choose the lucky 'winners!' How did I chose the winner? Hohoho.

Firstly, I browse through all the blogs again (Im pretty sure there are roughly 30+ people). Next, I read all the posts judging the sincerity of each post. At the end of the 1st selection round, I came out with only 17 bloggers! I am sorry to the other 13+, but perhaps you need to put more effort next time around. =). So, I jot down all the 17 names on a piece of paper, and cut them into pieces for the LUCKY DRAW!

no scissors, so I used a ruler instead. hohoho~

Cerita Hospital! lambat update

As salam semua.

Amacam puasa hari ni? Esok dah nak masuk hari ke 20 ramadan. *suke2* Jangan lupa nak tingkatkan Ibadah kita pada malam-malam terakhir Ramadan okey..

Haa, sorry sebab lambat sgt nak update story pasal kejadian yang sangat mencemaskan.. Sampai ke HOSPITAL lah.. Huhuhuhu. This happened last two week dah pon..

Ok make it simple, my housemate sorang ni Sakit.. Sob3. Kena APendix.. Ish2, teruk rupenya kena apendix ni. So dipendekkan lagi cerita, dia kena operate.. *erk, saya sangat ngeri dengar operate2 ni* Furthermore, saya lah yang teman dia di hospital pada malam b4 dia operate tuh. *excited sebab x pernah masuk hospital kat oversea b4 this*

Sistem dia lebeh kurang sama hampeh macam Malaysia jugak. hoho. Suka2 ja aku kutuk.IM SORRY. Tapi siyes, my friend menunggu hampir 2 jam b4 doktor panggil masuk untuk pemeriksaan. Tu pon after dia wat2 terguling atas kerusi *and the best actor award goes to ....*

bilik rawatan: pesakit bersama para 'doktor'

Malam tuh, sebab wad suma dah full, kitorang 'overnight' kat bilik rawatan jep. tu pon kira nasib baik la, ada ramai pesakit yang hanya dapat katil ja, dan tidor di koridor bilik rawatan. SADIS WEYH! Bila pagi tuh, ada pesakit checkidaut so kitorg leyh masuk wad. yeay! *ok tereksited pulak*.

macammana puasa hari pertama dan kedua anda? Alhamdulillah, saya kat sini okay-okay aje. Cobaan dan dugaan berpuasa di oversea ni agak besar. ye lah, orang sekeliling mmg la x puasa kan. selamber je dorang boleh bermakan-minum depan kite. Tapi, kita bukan budak-budak kan, senyum dan telan air liur je lah. Sabo2.. Heee

Salam Ramadan Kareem.

Alhamdulillah, hari ini merupakan hari pertama berpuasa di New Zealand. Sebenarnya, agak terkejut jugak dengan pengumuman puasa malam tadi. Kitorang *penduduk wellington terutamanya* mati-mati ingat puasa start 2hb kat sini. Sebab, sebelum ni laman web Fianz (Federation of Islamic Association New Zealand) menjangkakan puasa bermula 2hb. TERKEJUT BERUK malam tadi bila tiba-tiba diorang umum posa. hahaaha. *x dapat nak berlagak ngan kawan-kawan malaysia*

Ok, kebetulan pulak pada 1st ramadan harini, giliran saya untuk memasak. ALAMAK! Dah la saya ni kureng seket kalo bab-bab masak ni. Menu yang biasa dimasak hanyalah 1) Nasi Goreng 2)Ayam Masak Merah/Kicap 3)Telur Dadar 4)Sambal Udang. Tapi, kita jangan mengalah! Pantang Maut sebelum Ajal.

NOTHING IS TOO EXTREME FOR ME!

So, sebab hari ni adalah first Ramadan, saya rasa macam nak masak spesial sikit untuk kawan-kawan serumah (dan seorang tetamu). Menu yang dipilih adalah.. JENG jeng JeNG ---->

RENDANG AYAM + SUP TULANG + TELUR DADAR bersama Jus Oren

Nyum2, bunyi cam sedap x terkira.. Jom kita Usha keadaan di dapur time nak masak tadik.

#1: Bahan-bahan memasak disediakan terlebih dahulu

*ala-ala resipi jek aku nyer bahasa*

#2: kebersihan separuh daripada Iman. Jangan buat kerja bersepah-sepah. =)

#3: Rendang Dalam Proses Pembuatan *terlebih santan T_T*

#4: Para pembantu Dapur. Calon-calon Menantu berkualiti

#5: selesai masak! sila pastikan dapur sentiasa dalam keadaan TIP-TOP

#6: muka-muka cuak nak rasa air tangan addy fitri. Hee. *lapaq x sangga dah tuh*

#7: Hidangan Iftar Ramadhan pertama di New Zealand.

Syukur alhamdulillah, masakan tu boleh dikatakan menjadi. =)

Rasa gembira dapat jamu kawan-kawan juadah yang menyelerakan *perasan* pada 1st Syawal ehh Ramadan kali ini. Walaupun x sama dengan juadah di Malaysia, apa yang penting ialah keberkatan dari keikhlasan kita memasak itu sendiri.

Okeyh, hari ini saya berasa tersangat artis *bajet* apabila muka ini muncul 3 kali di dua surat khabar tempatan *Malaysia bukan New Zealand*. Yeah!! Misi Salam Perantauan yang julung-julung kali nak hantar akhirnya berjaya! Yes Yes..

Walopon masih lagi awal *posa pon xdan g*, tp apa yang penting ialah SEMANGAT!!

Ok, di kesempatan ini, saya nak ucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak BERITA HARIAN dan HARIAN METRO kerana telah menyiarkan gambar saya yang segak bergaya *perasan jek* ini.

Di samping itu, saya nak jugak ucapkan SALAM RAMADAN buat semua rakan2 yang mengenali diri ini samada secara langsung ataupun tidak. Semoga Ramadhan kali ini akan lebih mendekatkan kita dengan 'big boss' kita, Allah s.w.t.

Now, let us proceed with a short Ramadhan Tazkirah.. Marhaban Ya Ramadan. You have been long awaited by all of us. the Holy month which promises too many *uncountable* barakah to all of us, the mankind- worshipper of Allah s.w.t.

Saya tak nak cakap panjang, cuma saya nak kongsikan 'kejadian' yang baru berlaku tadi masa saya kat surau, dalam program ihya' ramadan..

Surau di kampus tuh baru lagi, ada 2 tingkat. Masa sebelum program mula, saya turun ke tingkat bawah untuk usha2 surau baru tuh. Ruang bawah sangat sejuk...... Tambah-tambah musim sejuk kan. Kemudian saya ternampak heater kat sudut bilik tu. Selamba jek saya kata,

"Lah, kecik tu jek heater dia??" .

Beberapa saat kemudian, saya terus terfikir dan berkata,

"MasyaAllah, naseb lah ada jugak heater kecik ni. Kalo x lagi la sejuk.."

However, it was in the spirit of ramadhan, that I quickly adjust the way I perceive/look at things. **I dont normally do that**. Ramadan teaches me to be modest and humble. It might sound or look simple yet there are whole lots of unexplained feelings hidden inside me at that time.

This might also happen to you, imagine that you were saying something ..'bla bla bla'... and your friends 'excuse you' and say

"Shhh, its not good to say that, THIS IS RAMADHAN".

I am NOT saying that you should be careful of what you speak, ONLY during ramadhan, but VERY OFTEN, its around or during ramadan that we are constantly being reminded or feels more likely to be conscious about what we say. Thats the beauty of ramadhan that I want to deliver here. It teaches and remind us to be self aware of everything (ibadah, behaviour, communication, relationship, etc).

There are many other ways in which ramadhan influences our daily lives.

To me, RAMADHAN makes me a better person, in many many ways. What about you??

Winter Trip yang menakjubkan..

Hi, entri kali ni nak post gambar2 waktu trip Winter haritu. I had great first time experience playing with snow! syukur sangat2 sebab akhirnya dapat jugak pegang snow. rasa kagum, terkesima, dan over-excited!

Saya bergerak ke Gunung Ruapehu naik kereta yang disewa dengan rakan2. The journey took around 5 hours. We first stop at Palmerston North Wind Farm. Teruja gila bila tengok kipas-kipas besar tuh sumer. Takut pon ada jugak.

Then before the Gunung Ruapehu, kitorang stop kat Ohakune untuk bermalam. Kecik je pekan dia, kalah pekan kilang lama kat Kulim (oh hometown!)

Minggu ini adalah minggu pertama bagi trimester kedua di Victoria University of Wellington bagi tahun 2011. It also means that there is no more HOLIDAYS but ASSIGNMENTS and TESTS are waiting. Arghhh! Namun, prinsip hidup saya senang, "hidup mesti ENJOY". Tak perlu tension2, jadi walaupun kelas dah bermula, mood 'holiday' saya tetap ON. *jangan tiru perangai ini*

Okay, terus kepada tajuk 'How to celebrate your 1st week if class?'. tee-hee, kebanyakan orang akan 'grieving' waktu minggu pertama. But not me, I celebrate! Apa yang saya buat?

berfoya-foya di bandar sehari sebelum kuliah bermula. camwhoring wherever possible. =)
makan besar di restaurant seolah2 meraikan hari graduasi. Hoho.
layan movie yang best di panggung wayang.

Berdoa di Facebook. Apa pandangan anda?

As-Salam,

Saya sangat tertarik apabila terbaca satu post di sebuah blog yang di-share-kan oleh seorang kawan di bukumuka petang tadi. Post di blog tersebut bercakap tentang 'Berdoa di Facebook' .

Berdoa di Facebook ni sudah menjadi satu kebiasaan di masa kini.

Doa di facebook ni terbahagi kepada banyak jenis, antaranya:-

doa untuk diri sendiri : "Ya Allah, permudahkan urusanku pada esok hari" atau "Ya Allah, berikanlah kejayaan kepada aku dalam peperiksaan di hari esok"
doa untuk kawan-kawan: "Semoga dipermudahkan segala urusan kamu pada esok hari. Allah bless you" dan yang sewaktu dengannya.

dua contoh di atas ni, adalah doa2 yang terang2 disandarkan pada Allah,

ada sesetengah doa pulak yang berupa seperti ucapan, tetapi masih boleh dikira sebagai doa. Bukankah semua ucapan-ucapan (yang baik) adalah doa. Contohnya;

"good luck exam esok"
"sihat2 selalu"
"semoga cepat sembuh"

dan macam2 lagi lah...

PERSOALANNYA, harus atau tidak kita 'berdoa' atau 'memberikan ucapan' sebegini di Facebook- sebuah laman sosial..

Saya paham dengan pendapat sesetengah pihak bahawa, doa adalah lebih afdhal di tikar sembahyang. Itu adalah sesuatu yang tidak dapat disangkal oleh saya mahupun sesiapa jua. Maka kita sebagai umat Islam haruslah sentiasa berdoa selepas solat dan bermunajat pada Ilahi. Namun, adakah salah untuk turut menjadikan facebook sebagai medium untuk berkongsi doa dan mengekspresikan hajat kepada Allah s.w.t?

Post di blog yang saya bacakan sebentar tadi, tidak mengulas dengan panjang isu ini. Namun, daripada pembacaan saya, penulis di blog tersebut cenderung untuk mengatakan bahawa 'berdoa di facebook' adalah sesuatu yang tidak bagus. Ini adalah pendapat peribadi sahaja.

Kendatipun, banyak komen2 di post tersebut yang menyokong bahawa perbuatan berdoa di facebook adalah sesuatu yang negatif ataupun kurang elok, saya mempunyai pandangan yang lebih neutral terhadap isu ini..

Pada hemat saya, berdoa di facebook samada seperti contoh2 pertama saya (menyebut nama Allah) mahupun contoh2 kedua (ucapan spt good luck, dll) adalah tidak salah selagi kita (orang yang menulis) masih sedar/paham akan tujuan doa tersebut (bukan untuk bermegah,menunjuk2) dan menyandarkan doa tersebut kepada Allah s.w.t semata.

*apa yang dikatakan seperti doa bermegah? e.g. "semoga tuhan permudahkan trip ke KOREA aku ni". jika tujuannya adalah utk bermegah, maka kurang eloklah, namun kalau ikhlas utk mendoakan kesejahteraan diri, mengapa tidak..

Berdoa di facebook bukanlah bermaksud kita meminta pada Mark Zuckenberg (x pasti ejaannya) mahupun pembaca kita, namun FB hanyalah sebagai satu medium untuk kita ekspresikan hajat kita pada kenalan di facebook. Selagi doa itu bukanlah dengan tujuan membangga-bangga ataupun mempunyai maksud-maksud tersirat yang kurang elok, tidak salah untuk kita berkongsi doa di facebook. Siapa tahu, mungkin para pembaca turut mendoakan kesejahteraan kita selepas membaca doa kita yang disusun kemas dan ikhlas di status facebook kita.

Saya lebih cenderung untuk mengatakan, perbuatan menulis status berupa doa di laman sosial adalah tidak salah selagi kita tahu batas-batasnya. Pada hemat saya juga , adalah tidak salah mendoakan kesejahteraan diri sendiri ataupun orang lain menggunakan medium penulisan di laman sosial selagi kita masih menyandarkan doa tersebut pada Allah s.w.t.

Namun, suka juga untuk saya katakan, sebaik-baik doa (munajat dan meminta sesuatu daripada Allah) adalah selepas bersolat, maka panjatkan semula doa-doa yang kita coretkan di laman sosial (sebelum waktu solat) selepas kita selesai bersolat. Itu adalah sebaik-baik amalan berdoa untuk dilakukan oleh kita.

Coretan ini hanyalah pandangan peribadi saya, sebarang kekhilafan harap ditegur dengan pendekatan membina.

Yang baik itu dari Allah, yang kurang itu jua dari-Nya namun disandarkan pada kelemahan diri saya.

As-salam guys.

Firstly, I really want to apologize as I have yet to start 'transforming' the blog and have not been updating anything in these few days. And also, I have went missing in action (M.I.A) for quite sometime don't I? Where have I been? What was I up too?

For your information (FYI), I am currently a Student Teacher/trainee teacher at St. Brigids School, down at Johnsonville, New Zealand for a week. I started my first day of teaching experience on Monday, and tomorrow will be the final day for me at the school.

To share some of my experience there, I would say that all the teachers, students as well as the parents are really lovely! Far way better than what we have in Malaysia.

I will list down few things that you would probably find interesting:-

(the facts are applicable for New Zealand's primary school only)

kids in NZ starts school at the age of 5, Year 1
unlike Malaysia, they did not follow the year of birth to start schooling, but the birth date. So, they have enrollment to school throughout the year (Jan-Dec).
the school starts at 9.00am and ends at 3.00pm. there are two breaks ; morning tea @10.30am (20mins) and lunch break @12.30pm (1 hour)
they don't have a cafeteria/canteen at school. most students bring their lunch and some student order their food (delivered during lunch break).
they don't have different teachers teaching different subject but only ONE teacher teaching ALL subjects throughout the year.
some schools have uniforms but most dont. Students can wear anything they like to school.

As-Salam

This will be a really short update. I am about to go out and embracing the winter coldness after this. Planning to go out and eat ICE-CREAM. Erk, sound kinda weird aye? ICE-CREAM during winter does not sound like a good idea? Haha. Who cares. I've been craving for it long ago. And if its true that nobody eats ice-cream during winter, the shop will not be there by now. Ngee.

Ok. Lets move on.. Now talking about change, I'm not talking about changing our attitude, or anything personal related. Not on this post (well, that could be a good idea for a latter post). I am actually thinking about changing the layout of the blog, AGAIN. and also the Header and many other things. I find that appealing blogs will attract more reader (providing the content is also good; erk, I'm working on that too okayh).

So, now I'm looking for a good website to learn how to re-design the whole page again. Erm, will also be transforming the whole idea of the blog. Perhaps I'll talk more about things that can actually benefit many other people as well. Before this, I tend to write about what happen in my life as my target readers are my close friends. Now that I'm enlarging the target readers; that is to making new friends as well, I am thinking of writing on topics which are more catchy and perhaps 'universal'. Hoho.

As salam, Hi and Kia Ora to all..

How's your day today? I hope everything is good for you. Life has been hectic for me, but never as beautiful as 'now'. Every second is a start of a new life. Enjoy your every second with no hatred and regret. InsyaAllah, you'll stay healthy and 'young' (at heart =p)

Today, I am happy as when I see my blog, I noticed that the number of viewers has passed 9,000 people! Alhamdulillah (though I reckon 50% of that is me viewing my blog. haha). When famous bloggers easily reached 9k viewers in a week or less, I took roughly 2 years to reach that number. T____________________T

But still, its an achievement. 9000 divided by 2, I have 4500 viewers a year. Divide by 12 I have around 375 viewers each month (ignoring 50% or more is me-myself. tee-hee). So, celebrating me approaching 10 thousand viewers I want to share with all of you readers, some of the people that has actually in sound or silent (a.k.a dalam bunyi atau diam. haha) has contributed to all this numbers. And some of them I just realized today. thanks guys.

Seriously people. Do not be like me!

I bought my ticket back to Malaysia from Christchurch with the price of MYR9**.

I was one of the happiest guy in the world when I bought that ticket.

Not that I realized I would change my mind. sob3.

After few weeks. I feel that the date I chose was not so-much-of-a-good-date.

My holidays starts on 16th Oct, but my flight is on 19th Nov. That's one month of a gap.

Okay, I admit I was S.T.U.P.I.D to buy tickets on that date earlier.

but, I initially had some plan which apparently has now changed.

And to further elaborate,

my real break will start on 12th Nov; and the 16th Oct

is actually the starts of study+exam week.

I was first scheduled with an paper to sit for (exam);

which is why I chose to go back on 19th Nov (after exam week).

However, I asked for a change of courses and my changes was then approved,

making me to have no paper(exam) to sit for during next trimester.

So, my break pretty much starts at 16th Oct.

and this makes me changes my plan and think of changing the flight date.

I asked around about peoples opinions and they said:

"just go on, do what you want"
"hey, do not need to change-lah, just stay here for a while and travel in between that"
"BALIK-LAH CEPAT (come back faster!)"

and many more. fuhh. it's really hard to decide then.

but, finally, I bought it. Yerp. I changed it. YeaY.

However, the whole process cost me lots of

overall, I have to add up MYR3** to the amount that I've paid before.

ouch!

Hi friends.

I'm back! With new spirit! New way of looking at the world! Today, I have a secret to share. Secret that we all know, but rarely realized, yet often ignore. Huh, sounds complicated aye? Don't be. I'll explain and you'll see later, how brief and easy the matter is/are.

The secret is of the title : LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AS IT IS

It depends on how you define beautiful, different individual has different interpretation of the word *BEAUTIFUL*

Mr Wiki defines it as

an adjective used to describe things as possessing beauty.

Nonetheless, Mr Dictionary defines it as

having qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about, etc.

Particularly, when you talk about beauty, you think about perfection and nice things.

However to me, life is beautiful not because it is perfect. Conversely, because it has ups and down. And it gets more beautiful after every 'ugly' event in our life.

We all know that :

Everybody (I do mean EVERYBODY. nobody escapes) faces challenges or 'ugly-events' in their life.

We often not realized that:

It will eventually makes us stronger/better individual later. people says, experience is the best teacher.

We often ignore:

The beauty that lies behind the 'ugly-event'. At that particular time, we get to much indulge into the 'ugly-event' thinking that the world is going to end for us. yeah, we are a L-O-S-E-R at that *critical* time. (or at least I was ) T_T

E.g:

In life, we faces lots of challenges/events that makes us feel tormented and sometimes it force us to lose faith in the beauty of life. At that time, not that we know, the event will eventually become a stepping stone for us to be a better person in the future. Pray hard, and ask for help. You'll be fine. (addy, 2011)

I would like to share two of my analogies:

Note that, there is always lights(as in spotlight/candles/bulb/etc) at night! You just have to find it. Once you found one, the darkness will be overcome.

And also, don't afraid of ugliness! Living modern life, there are a lot of alternative. Get the right one, and you can be as pretty as others. (in your own way!

*debatable, but yeah. take the closest meaning possible*

I also have one more interesting quote that I would like to share.

keyword: SELFISH (SELL=JUAL, FISH=IKAN)

*Jual ikan, jangan jadik ikan. sebab, jual ikan dapat duit, jadik ikan nanti kena makan*

we do have to be selfish sometimes, that is to think about ourself before others.
If we become a fishmonger (who sells fish) we will be happy and get money(benefits for ourselves),
But, if we ourselves are the fish (letting others to sell*use* us) we will not be getting anything beneficial for us. Worst is, the fishmonger will sell us for money! $$. And we can tell that, fish ends up on dining table. *imagine yourself gets fried/steam/etc. woohoo. nobody wants that aye?*

Oh. conclusion. Life is beautiful as it is. Treasure every moments. Embrace the ups and downs. May you find eternal happiness at the end. Cheers.

Okay, the title goes "STUDYING OVERSEAS?? Good IDEA?". So, the main topic in this post would revolve around the pro's and con's of studying overseas. Haa, mungkin sesuai jugak kan nak cakap pasai benda ni skrang. Ye ar, result temuduga2 JPA/MARA/KPM/dll utk ijazah luar ngra pon dah kluar bg adik2 SPM2010. So, bg yang dah dapat tawaran tu, and rasa mcm x tau nk pergi ke x, anda boleh la baca post ni. and decide for yourself. =)

Okayh, jom kita pergi kepada cabaran-cabaran di tanah air dahulu sebelum kita pergi kepada pro's and con's di LUAR NEGARA.

apakah cabaran-cabaran yang terlibat????

perlu melepasi A-Level/Foundation/Persediaan/Ausmat/dll - haa, ramai yang takut dengan semua ni. Ramai yang kata, kalo GAGAL nanti, habislah.. x boleh pergi mana-mana pon. kena buat diploma jer. Which is HALF TRUE (or 3/4 true). Tetapi, keep positive. Out of 100 students, brapa ramai yang gagal? go and ask around and ask why those people didnt make it?? some people mmg xdak tuah, takdir dah menentukan and ada hikmah etc. but, certain people tuh, just playing around and didnt work hard enough. so, kalo anda study betul-betul, iAllah you'll do just fine.
lagi satu, tekanan dari orang sekeliling. e.g Mak Joyah : "eh, anak kau nak pergi oversea, beruntung eh kau." haa, ini lagi la susah. kalo GAGAL, habes satu kampung tau nanti kan3? Tetapi, jadikan ianya pembakar semangat. Stadi rajin2, and buktikan pada keluarga bahawa kita mampu mengharumkan nama mereka. iAllah.

oklah, bagi adik2 kat luar tuh, jangan lah risau anda x terbawak kursus2 persediaan ni. kalo ada usaha+doa, iALLAH anda boleh berjaya. Belajar mana2 pon susah. Kalo anda rasa matrik/asasi lebih senang.. anda tidak 100% betul. terlalu panjang kalau nak cerita pasai Asasi/Matrik vs Persediaan Luar Negara ni. kalau ada pertanyaan, sile komen yer..

Ok, sekarang kita tgk pulak PRO's atau kelebihan belajar di luar negara. YeaY!

Jalan-jalan PERCUMA!! - bila dan sapa lagi nak sponsor anda pergi UK/OZ/NZ/US/etc ..hee, melawak jer..
PENGALAMAN - sound lame jer kan. tapi BETUL! anda akan terbuka minda dan cara pemikiran anda apabila anda belajar di luar negara. things are different here. the way of living, the way of thinking aka mentality, language!!!, and many other things.
4 MUSIM - haha. im approaching winter now. X sabar!!!
education SYSTEM - sangat berbeza!! x macam Universiti / IPG di Malaysia. less exam oriented! Relax style of lecture, friendly and approachable staff and lecturers. Kalau nak argue on a certain thing ngan lecturer, amat dialu-alukan. more freedom to express your thought.
banyak lagi lah!!! yang disenaraikan adalah antara yang common di luar negara lah kan. =)

sekarang kepada con's pulak! apa yang lagi best di MALAYSIA. and better off to just stay there.

SUPPORT - basically from family and close friends in Malaysia. you dont find much of this here. Yerp, you can skype and chat for hours. but, its DIFFERENT!!! You have strong Malaysian community in overseas, but this depends on you. if you arent strong enuf, better off stay in Malaysia. rather than suffering high emotional effect at the end of the day. =(
FOOD - its really hard to find good food here! basically, all non-Halal. no halal KFC, no halal McD, etc2. so, kalau you jenis yang x tahan with all this, Malaysia is a better place to study!
CULTURE SHOCK - very common. drinking and partying habit. bla3, and also perception towards muslim. Especially in countries like US and UK. cause I heard about ISLAMOPHOBIA are bad there. Alhamdullillah, NZ is not like that. Kiwi's are lovely people. =)

Allah the Merciful, thanks for everything.

I took my own sweet time to get everything sorted out carefully again.

I went out to town to freshen my mind. It really does help to calm me down. Alhamdulillah..

So what did I do? see the pictures . =P

* some sight seeing:- this is a really good therapy

* enjoying the beauty of Allah's land :- I'm really grateful being here in Wellington. One of Allah's remarkable beautiful land. plus, this beach is just in walking distance from my apartment. =)

praying :- this is near the beach and the temperature is about 6-8 degree celcius. but, it was such a soothing experience. Allah the Almighty.

and some cam-whoring will also help. ^_^

In fact, everything belongs to Him the Almighty

We have no right at all to complaint about anything He did to us.

and every Muslims know that. me too. Having thought religious studies at school;Alhamdulillah, I do have some basic understanding on Islam and am trying to improve on it everyday.

"Allah will never test you more than what you could bare"

I can still remember this saying being told to me years ago. I reckon its a translation of Quran verse, the actual translation may actually differ a bit. I'm putting the meaning in my own word.

and now, Allah is putting His test on me. A test that I think I almost cant bare. but, I put my faith in Him and believe that I should stay 'sabar' and keep on praying to Him. He just wants me to get back on the real path. I was way to far from his path before this. Thank You Allah. Thanks for loving me.

But, (I know I should not have 'but' with Allah) I am really fragile Ya Rabbi. Please do not let me suffer on this forever. Please answer my prayer soon Ya Rabbi. I am too far from home and I cant do anything much from here. Its only to you that I could ask for Mercy and Help.

How are you guys feeling?

Hope that everything is going fine for all of you.

Alright, lets get into business. As promised, I'll be talking about Mt KauKau trip I had last week. I should say that the place is promisingly BEAUTIFUL!!! Its one of the 'underdog-must-go' destination in Welly. but, Hey.. why did I say 'underdog'? Well, mostly because it is not at famous as the other tourist site such as Lord of the Ring site and so many more(I am yet to explore. haha)

Cool, now a little bit about how we went to the place and the distance. We went by train and it took around 30-45mins to get to Khandallah (where the Mt is) from Wellington railway station. Alternatively, you guys can still go by bus. It is pretty easy to get there. Just ask around if you are not sure. Kiwis are lovely people and would be more than glad to help. [oppss, some of you might not know. kiwi=new zealander, althought kiwi also used for bird and fruit]

Kia Ora peeps.

Well, I feel really bad as I haven't really improve on my writing and speaking skills yet. Pardon my English please. I know that my language is not awesome nor fantastic. As a future English teacher I should be proficient in the language itself. But, I don't think I have actually really acquire English thoroughly. Haish.. I am really working hard on it and am trying hard to improve on my accent as well as my vocabularies. The problem is that I hate to READ! YERp, I am a book LOSER!! I don't read, but I talk a LOT! and thats why I repetitively use the same structures or words in a conversation or writing. Huhu.

I've been thinking a lot these few days and had actually come out with few suggestions that I think I can really work on :-

speak English most of the time ; yerp. and I am determined. Thats the only way I can improve on my speaking skills. (Of course I'll need to talk to native speaker; I'll work on that)
ReaD!!!! ; this might be hard. Oh, but no choice. I will start with the books which were given by my bff from INDIA. he strongly suggests me to read these two books. This might just be the right time. ^_^
write post in ENGLISH with full spelling and correct grammar; Fuhh. I really hate to double/triple check my language. but, will slowly do.
listen to comments, advices etc2 and improve on the mistakes/errors.

I hope this will help me to improve on my linguistic competence. :D

p/s: it's good to realize what you are lacking of and work hard to improve on it. right?

What is a Marae?

Hi Guys. As salam.

I am so sorry for the late update. I was too much into enjoying my Easter Break. Yeeha.

Nvm, now I'm back. Ermmmmmm As promised in the last post, I'll talk on details of my Marae visit on 16-17/4/2011. Firstly, do you guys know what Marae is? Well, its actually house of Mauri people. (macam umah panjang kat Malaysia, tp lain lah seket kan). A typical Marae will look like this

However, the Marae that we visited was a little bit unique and different. It was a 9 storey tall building. We were warmly welcomed by the daughter of the host into the Marae (its a custom that woman will invite visitor to the Marae). There should be a Powhiri ritual but we missed that because of the rain. I was disappointed but was hoping for more to come.

Tapu Te Ranga Marae

Later, we had some briefing by the host and he told us his philosophy for building up the Marae. He set up the Marae to help young Mauri who dont have places to go. They're always welcome to be part of family and live at the Marae. NO CHARGE AT ALL! The Marae had stood up for 37 years now, and was actually build on recycle material. It was build with the help of young Mauri people who lived there (years ago).

the host told us.

In the evening, we had a cultural night where we did cross cultural activities. MAURI and MALAYSIAN culture. There were lots of performances and I enjoyed the night!

I was the emcee for the night(crapped alot!). We ended the night with an ad-hock Indian Dance performance by my Indian friend and I. Haha.

I do actually mean Homesick T_T

but what makes me homesick??

I am usually a tough guy, and

not easily moved by matters which are trifles.

truth be told,

I thought I was like that,

not that I know, I am actually quite vulnerable and fragile.

After two months in New Zealand,

i'm really missing Home.

I did make few Fb status which sounded like this:-

"I miss home. Uwaaaaaaa" or sort of like that.

and I received various comments on this status.

for instance:-

hari tu kat M'sia xsabar2 nak p sana..la ni dah terbalik pulak..

and

I admit that I was so excited on coming to new new zealand.

tibalah hari yang di tunggu-tunggu selama ini. Akhirnya, akan juga saya melangkahkan diri ke tempat baru. Negara burung Kiwi dan juga pasukan ragbi terkenal, New Zealand. Dah lama dah berangan nak ke New Zealand ni. Dari hari first daftar sebagai pelajar pada 14.7.2008 sampai lah sekarang. dan Esok, ulang tulis ESOK.. saya akan berangkat ke sana. Alhamdulillah..

the care and attention of my family - which is hard for me to get here. though we are only a phone call away. but it cost VERY MUCH $$$.

friends who are always there beside you.- under the striking sun or in the rain. they'll always be there. not that I disregard my friends here. but, I really miss those at Malaysia, India, Russia.. you guys are perfect friends!~

And I miss only these 2 things.

not the food, not the places, or ect.

And I deserve my respect for missing those and what I love.

Again, I am not weak. So stop thinking like that. In fact, I cherish my live to utmost here.

You'll be jealous if I tell all of it. Yet, No place is better than the place we call HOME.

Hi GUys.

SOme of my friends (cohortmates) have been asking me.

What is ELTO?

And how do I get involve with it?

So to those who are in zero-ideas of what ELTO is,

here is some simple explanation which might help

you guys understand it. I'm putting it in my own words.

It might not be 100% true.

Well, ELTO is actually a program which is sponsored by

NZ government. ELTO is a short form (mnemonics) of

English Language Training for Officials

where officers from Ministries in

Vietnam, Lao, Myanmar, Cambodia

are sponsored (through MoU) to study English in NZ.

Its a program to develop their English proficiency especially

in their working areas.

So, the program where I'm in is called

ELTO BUDDY TALK PROGRAM.

I act as a buddy (good friends) which casually

hang out with them occasionally and help them to feel welcome

and also to allow them to practice English communication.

Pretty cool right? Yeah, I know. <3

......

This evening I spend a great time with my

Elto friends at the botanical Garden.

Talk with my Buddy, An from Vietnam.

Enjoyed chatting with new friend, Nok from Laos.

Had fun watching soccer match between the Eltos.

Also enjoyed spending time with Sam and Setha (from Cambodia)

on an evening walk on the way home.

After about a couple of weeks of terrible malware experience,

I am now back! Healthy and sound. Yeay!

-I do still have the migraine, but it's getting better ^_^-

Malware is seriously a big thing that can really drive you crazy (isn't it?).

Well, I don't want to talk much on this nightmare anymore.

I am so Happy now as my beloved blog has recovered from it's 'sickness'.

Will be posting on lots of stuff that I had missed out before.

Hyep.
I believe I have got the malware removed since days ago.
I have had to delete many of the applications
like the blog list, follower, songs, as well as the traffic counter
because I cant detect where the malware comes from.

However,
I would not be posting anything in these few days/ weeks
because I have got migraine.
This sickness is very new to me and I just realise it is actually a migraine
since last tuesday when I went to see a doctor.
The situation is quite bad therefore I would say that I would like
settle everything down before I want to start become active again in blogging.
